Puerto Vallarta is considered one of the jewels of the Pacific. This city’s beaches, history, and essential monuments have turned it into a highly visited destination.
However, there is one place that has come to be known as one of the main attractions of the city, the Puerto Vallarta Pier, a legend.
The Puerto Vallarta Pier is about a mile filled with palm trees, colors, sculptures, restaurants, bars, local cuisine, art, colonial architecture and, of course, the sea.

The soul and spirit of Vallarta are found at this point of the city.
This vital part of the town was built in 1930, and recently it has gone through constant remodeling.
Some examples of these renovations are: the elimination of vehicle traffic, new and essential sculptures and palm trees.
The zone is taken care of, and there are access areas to the beach open for all visitors.
By walking along the pier you will get to see everything, from the best restaurants and nightclubs, to the Naval Museum, the Romantic Zone and Playa Los Muertos.
Some of the main attractions on the pier are:
- Sculptures by Mexican artists
- Street vendors with Mexican snacks
- Street artists
- Sand sculptures on the beach
- Beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean
- Restaurants, bars, and cafés
- Night clubs
